2018 EMC Good EarthKeeping Awards

The Columbia County EMC established the Good Earthkeeping Award in 1982 to acknowledge and commend County residents, groups and/or businesses that have made a real contribution to the conservation, preservation, improvement or facilitation of a better understanding of our environment.  The contribution must have taken place in Columbia County.

Bridge Committee

The Committee was established to work with the County on the restoration of the historic bridge in Stuyvesant Falls.  Co-Chairs of the Committee are Supervisor Ron Knott and Councilman Bill Schneider; they report to the Town Board.

Town Hall Committee

The co-Chairs of the Town Hall Committee are Supervisor Ron Knott and Councilman Tom Burrall.  They report to the Town Board.

Cemeteries Committee

The Cemeteries administered by the Town Board are the Firwood Cemetery (Church Street) and Butler Cemetery (State Route 9J).  The co-Chairs of this committee are Councilman Tom Burrall and Cathy Knott; they report to the Town Board.
