I apologize for the additional email. I noticed there was a typographical error in the newsletter sent yesterday. It read “will not be closed…” and it should have said “will now be closed…”
I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. The information on the website was correct, however.
The Town was notified this morning that the dates of closure for the Stuyvesant Falls Bridge have been revised.
“Please be advised that due to the recent inclement weather throughout the northeast, there has been a delay in obtaining the necessary under-bridge inspection vehicle that was to be used for the in-depth inspection of the Stuyvesant Falls Bridge. Thus, we regret to inform you that the day-time closures necessary for the bridge inspection work will now take place beginning on Thursday, June 20 and will continue through Saturday, June 22. The same day-time closure hours will be in effect, with the daily closures occurring from 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.”
Changes have been made accordingly to the article on the front page of the website and the calendar.
