June & July Updates

Hello Visitor,

Thank you for subscribing to the Town of Stuyvesant newsletter.

With summer at our doorstops, we have a lot of exciting things happening in Stuyvesant! Today (6/19/15) there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new pavillion at Ice House Road. Please go to the website to read a short article, or check out the pictures on our Facebook page. Thank you to everyone who made this project possible.

Tomorrow is Big Truck Day!! Hosted by the Kinderhook Memorial Library and held at the Stuyvesant Town Hall, this is an event that never fails to delight children and adults alike. A free community event held 11-2. Come see and climb in and on the big trucks, tractors, firetrucks and other BIG stuff! Crafts, games and food will also be available.

Registration forms are available online and in the office for the 9th Annual Ken Hummel Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Kids’ 1 Mile Chicken Run on Saturday, August 8th. The Annual Historic Stuyvesant Day Picnic will be held following the conclusion of the awards ceremony, and is being planned to be held at the new pavillion on Ice House Road. Bring a dish to share and kayak to paddle.

Please note, the Town Clerk’s Office will be closed on Friday, June 27th in preparation for ICC High School Graduation. The Town wishes to congratulate and send best wishes to all the Seniors in and around our community graduating.
