December 2015/End of Year

Hello Visitor,

Thank you for subscribing to the Town of Stuyvesant newsletter.

Tomorrow is December 1st! This year has just flown by.

Holidays at the Depot returns on December 5th with free refreshments (hot cocoa compliments of the Riverview Cafe), caroling along with live music (by John Bosquet-Morra & Marilyn Miller), childrens’ crafts (with Lisanne Jensen), a model train display (by Cal Burch), and of course, Santa! This event will be 1-3pm and is free for all.

There have been some changes to the meeting calendar for December as well — the biggest highlight is the Town Board meeting, normally held on the 2nd Thursday (12/1) will be moved to December 29th at 7pm for the End-of-Year Meeting.

A swearing in ceremony for newly elected officials will be held on January 1st at 10am at the Town Hall. All are invited and a small reception will be held immediately following the ceremony.

Please remember parking restrictions for Town Roads are now in effect, especially important as we enter the snowy season.

We would like wish everyone Happy, healthy & safe Holidays.

Sincerely,
The Town of Stuyvesant
