May 2017 News

Hello Visitor,

Thank you for subscribing to the Town of Stuyvesant newsletter.

The Annual Spring Clean Up Day will be Saturday, May 6th. Punch cards are available from the Town Clerk’s Office and the Highway Department during their regular business hours. Please be prepared to show proof of residency. As in past years, no hazardous waste nor household garbage will be accepted and there will be a limit of 4 tires per household. E-waste (computers, televisions, radios, etc.) will be accepted; please keep them separated as there will be a special bin for them.

The calendar has been updated through September to include the Pot Luck Dinners on Fridays at the Depot; Movie Nights at the Depot on Saturdays; and the Food Festivals are returning — beginning on May19th with the Rhubarb Festival.

Grievance Day will be Tuesday, May 23rd and the hours are 4-8pm. Forms and packages are available from the Assessor’s Office as well as the Town Clerk’s Office. Due to this mandatory date, the Zoning Board meeting has been changed to May 16th, if there is anything for the agenda.

The Clerk’s Office will be closed on Saturday, May 13th for the Clerk to attend her son’s graduation from HVCC.

Don’t Forget… Mothers’ Day is May 14th.

Sincerely,
The Town of Stuyvesant
