IMPORTANCE OF THE CENSUS
The 2020 Census will determine the Congressional representation, help determine how federal funding is allocated to communities, and provide data that will impact communities every year for the next decade.
OPERATIONS INFORMATION
UPDATE LEAVE: The US Census Bureau field staff have been delivering Census questionnaires to homes in Columbia County and expect to complete this task next week.
MOBILE QUESTIONNAIRE ASSISTANCE
The US Census Bureau has given the "greenlight" to make "Mobile Questionnaire Assistance" available upon request. This operation brings Census Response Representatives to the community to visit key locations or events - grocery stores, markets, houses of worship, libraries, community centers, and places where people naturally gather.
